Death

Death is what I have felt/looked like these past few days. Thankfully, I have an amazing best friend, Austin, and an amazing sister, Mon, that take really good care of me and tend to spoil me. :) I am so blessed!

Austin has stayed with me literally all day every day since Monday (minus nights of course). He's fed me when I could hardly sit up, checked my temp. 398384975 times a day (quite literally), forced me to drink heaps of liquids, applied a near freezing rag to my forehead when my fever wouldn't break and most importantly....still likes to call me beautiful when I look like a complete and total mess! I kind of like the kid, he's definitely something else.

Monica brought me some popsicles after she got home from work, gave me pills to take, let me snuggle in her bed this morning because she knew that I had a rough night, surprised me with my favorite candy EVER and makes sure to text me every couple of hours to make sure that I haven't died :) I kind of like her a lot! I think I'm definitely going to keep her for forever.

This weekend (if I fully recover), Mon, Austin, Anjilee, maybe Steve and I will be going to St. George to hike, swim and do other outdoorsy things. We will be staying at Austin's parents home and I'm so excited! They are absolutely wonderful people, I can tell, well, I've met his dad and he's one of the most funny people that I have ever met! Anyway, the point is........that I need to get better so that we can all have a blast together this weekend!
I love life.

You are not forgotten

I am so grateful for the gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the love that is felt and the light that can be seen a midst all of the darkness. President Uchtdorf's testimony to the Relief Society really hit me today. I am so full of happiness that I just want to just go out and share it. I want to serve a mission so bad!

Life is beautiful, don't wait for your golden ticket to come to be happy. Be happy now!

Happiness is something we create

Some believe in destiny, some believe in fate but I believe that happiness is something we create.

Life has been a little less than exciting the past year, that's for sure! I lost control of my life for so long and I'm finally taking it back! :) These last couple of days have been the absolute best!

Friday: Hunger games with Mon and Sushi with Austin and Adam
Saturday: Festival of Colors with Mon, Austin, Adam and Brad
Sunday: Hit up two wards, made dinner and played Frisbee golf with Austin
Monday: Bowling and Sushi with Austin and Mon
Tuesday: Apartment searching, mall and dinner with Austin

You might be asking who in the world Austin is. Well, let me tell you. He's kind of a weird person. jk. He's wonderful! We have decided that we are official bosom friends. He's absolutely awesome and makes me laugh harder than anyone! He's very therapeutic! I kinda love that kid! We have an awesome and yet very weird friendship. We are basically each others wing people for everything. No....there is no sort of romance thing going on! :)

Sushi

I think I have a problem. I may or may not be addicted to Sushi, is that bad? I have had it twice this week and would definitely go back for thirds this weekend!

Bacon Crunch Roll @ Happy Sumo!
Go! Right now!

This is how bad it is, the lovely person, named Aaron, that makes my rolls has already started to get to know me. In fact, yesterday we ordered a total of 5 rolls and he gave them to us all 50% off.

What a nice guy...especially since I have the most stubborn of friends that don't let me pay.

Also, I'm so excited for the rest of this month. This weekend is going to be a blast!! Then it's conference weekend and instead of going to Arizona like I had planned, I will be going to New York! What What!!
