Christmas

is awesome.

I am so grateful for our Savior. I am so grateful for his atoning sacrifice and for the opportunity, that is made possible through him, to return to live with our Father in Heaven one day. I am grateful for the temples that make it possible for heaven and earth to be united and the love that can be felt there.

I love my family, especially my sweet and innocent, little sisters. They have taught me so much and have shown me so much love since I have been here! They are such sweet natured girls.

I am so grateful that Viviana and Liliana made the choice to get baptized and how excited they were, even to say "We are going to get the Holy Ghost on Christmas, BEST PRESENT EVER!!" How cute is that?

I am proud of Monica to have made the decision to get endowed and receiving further covenants that are very much needed to return to live with our Father in Heaven some day. I'm also grateful that she allowed me to be there on that very special and spiritual day(:

I am so grateful for my health and gifts and abilities that Heavenly Father has given to me.

I also grateful for my husband, Dylan, who has taught me so much and is the only way by which I can become perfected.

Merry Christmas y'all!

Inspiration

Here are a few quotes from the brethren that have inspired me:

“Everybody in this life has their challenges and difficulties. That is part of our mortal test. The reason for some of these trials cannot be readily understood except on the basis of faith and hope because there is often a larger purpose which we do not always understand. Peace comes through hope.”
-Elder James E.Faust

"Discipleship does not guarantee freedom from the storms of life. Even as we are wending our way carefully and faithfully along the strait and narrow path, we encounter obstacle and challenge. There are days, perhaps even months and years, when life is just hard. We experience our fair share of adversity, heartache, loneliness, pain, grief--sometimes; it seems more than our fair share.

"What to do when adversity strikes? There is only one thing to do. Stand steady and see it through. Stay steadfast, constant, and true. The real tragedy in the whirlwinds of life comes only when we allow them to blow us off our true course."
-Elder David S. Baxter

"At times we may despair that our burdens are too great. When it seems that a tempest is raging in our lives, we may feel abandoned and cry out like the disciples in the storm, 'Master, carest thou not that we perish?' (Mark 4:38). At such times we should remember His reply: 'Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?' (v. 40).

"The healing power of the Lord Jesus Christ--whether it removes our burdens or strengthens us to endure and live with them like the Apostle Paul--is available for every affliction in mortality."
-Elder Dallin H. Oaks

“As we pass through the trials of life, let us keep an eternal perspective, let us not complain, let us become even more prayerful, let us serve others, and let us forgive one another.”
-James B. Martino

“All you have to do is trust your Heavenly Father. Trust Him enough to follow His plan.”
-Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf

I am so grateful for the gospel and the peace that it bring to me.
