Surprise!

I haven't posted at all lately and partially it's because I am super busy but mostly it's because I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag. 

This is the cat:

Steven and I are so thrilled! 

We are 14 weeks (3.5 months) pregnant. We are extremely nervous but mostly just grateful, grateful that we have baby Drake in our lives now.

Texas

(This post is very late....because I have a busy life and don't blog every day)

Steven and I went to Texas for Christmas and spent lots of quality time with the family. 

We made tons of Bunuelos and Empanadas and played lots of games!

It was so hard for us to come back to Utah to real life but thankfully

we got to come back to more family and spent some time with Steve's family.

On our way back to SLC we gave up our seats for $800's worth of flight vouchers and $80 worth of airport food vouchers. We flew for 12 hours though! We flew from Dallas to Minneapolis, from Minneapolis to Los Angeles and then from Los Angeles finally back to Salt Lake. Needless to say, we were extremely exhausted but at least we got to fly first class on every plane....free full meals and movies?? Any day!

Oh and my husband is very handsome and he likes to be thoughtful.

BIRTHDAY BOY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE MOST HANDSOME MAN OUT THERE!

I'm eternally grateful for the birth of this man. He's been the biggest blessing to my life. Thank you Bonnie and Richard for having such a wonderful son and for raising him well. Especially Bonnie, for going through what mothers go through to bear and raise children. I hope to one day be even half the mom that you are.

Steven and I are going up to Salt Lake to celebrate his birthday with Steve's parents and spend the weekend at their house. Ever since we got back from spending the weekend there for Thanksgiving break we have been SO homesick to go back. And then, in one week we get to go to our other home in Texas!

HOME SWEET HOME

WE LOVE OUR HOME.

I probably should have done this a long time ago since we've been living at our "new" home for almost 4 months. For those of you who care and for my mum, here is what we've done to our place :) We still need to decorate some more but we will do it little by little. The moment we walked in, we knew that this was the right place for us. We are so happy here.

Steve writes 10 page papers while I take pictures and blog.

Our Christmas tree looks a little sad because we need more ornaments but we love it.

We LOVE our couch. My parents are the best.

We also love our bed! Once again, my parents rock!
