Waiting Game

I've just entered into a new stage in my life.

Yesterday was my last day at work and today has already seemed like the longest day. I got exhausted all too much at work and now that I'm at home all day I still feel exhausted and not so productive. Now that I'm going to be at home waiting for Bentley's arrival, I might go stir-crazy and time will probably go by so much slower! I'm glad that I at least have my Younique business that helps keep me busy and helps provide for our family.

What I'm mostly grateful for though is the stud of a man that I married.
The best part of my days are when I see him walk through our front door. Even when Steven's exhausted from working full-time and going to school full-time, the first thing I see when he walks through that door is his super handsome smile that still makes my heart skip a beat. He always has the best attitude and is a wonderful confidant, provider and support system for me.

I hope Bentley is always just as happy as his daddy and doesn't get grumpy like his momma.

I've gotten pretty much everything ready for the arrival of our little guy.
Steven and I are both so anxious to meet him.

Our doctor says he's measuring right on track (I'm at 37.3 weeks) but I swear he's so much bigger than he should be.
He's still super hyper-active and it's so much more painful now than it used to be. Bentley has moved to the head down position so he really could come at any time.

 Now begins the waiting game.

I'm so grateful that I haven't had any complications in my pregnancy. I've had swollen ribs and every other pregnancy symptom but nothing abnormal. That we know of, Bentley is a strong and healthy baby and I am so grateful for him.

Happy Anniversary

Steven and I were married a year ago as of this past Sunday.

I've been looking at wedding pictures all morning and just have the biggest feeling of gratitude.
I know I'm always so mushy and mostly post about Steven but hey, him and Bentley are my world.

I'm so grateful for my sweet husband and best friend. I'm so grateful for the man that he is and all that he does for our little family. I'm so grateful for our family and could not imagine our lives being any different.

On Saturday, to celebrate our year anniversary we went out to eat and then spent the evening at home playing Monopoly because we are poor college students and thoroughly enjoy playing board games together.

One year later and I'm even more in love than I ever could have possibly imagined.

The Final Countdown

((Okay, well maybe not the final countdown but it makes me feel better when I think of it that way.))

Today I'm 30 weeks pregnant! Only 10 more to go!

Although I'm excited to meet the little guy, I'm kind of amazed that I'm already this far along and that before I know it, I won't be feeling him inside of me anymore. Is it weird that, that makes me sad? I'm so used to having him inside of me that I can't even remember what it's like to not be pregnant anymore.

On the other hand, I feel so unprepared and really have no idea what I even need to have ready for when he  does comes. I thought I knew a lot more about babies, only to find out that I know NOTHING.

Something new about baby Drake is that he LOVES to kick daddy. He can be so calm and as soon as he hears or feels Steven put his hand on my belly, he will start kicking/punching.

I am excited to experience a lot of things with our baby but what I mostly can't wait for is
to see Steven and our little guy play and interact.

As of right now, I doubt anything can trump that.

Our 2 week break!

We have been in Texas for a week now and will be leaving back for Utah on the 13th.
Before that, my mom and little sisters were in Utah for two weeks.
I love family time. Especially having my mom spoil Steven's mini me.
Anyway, here are some of the fun things we/Steven has gotten to do.

He's a kid at heart.

Riding the Ferris Wheel at Scheels with Liliana

Dancing with my Momma at Monica's wedding

Burning in the sun at the pool

Being a stud, what he's best at.

And working, TONS of working. Steven and my dad have been working on home renovations practically every day. My husband is manly. :)

I realize these are all pictures of Steven and my family. What have I been doing? A whole lot of nothing. Between Steven and my mom I've been extremely coddled. Apparently I can't do anything because I'm pregnant.

UPDATE ON OUR BABY: I'm 28 weeks along, I've gained 17 pounds and have watermelon size feet most of the time. Our baby boy is a wild one, he's constantly kicking and rolling in my tummy, needless to say I have severe rib pain ALL DAY. He's going to be a soccer player like his daddy.
