How grateful I am for this gospel. I’m so grateful for the power of the Priesthood and for the men that honor their priesthood. Such a man is he that understands the kind of power that he holds and does all that he can to remain to have that power and bless the lives of those around him. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to help and serve those around me. I cannot wait for the day that I can serve our Father more fully and proclaim the word to all those searching for it. How amazing is it to know that we are blessed to know and understand who we are and what our purpose is. I can only hope that I will one day be able to look our Father in Heaven in the eyes and know that I have done all that I could do to help others feel the same. I can’t even begin to express the amazing feeling that has overcome me.
This coming week is my last week of the semester. I will be going home for Paloma’s wedding and following her wedding Clara will be getting baptized. Then in the middle of August the family will be taking a drive up to Utah for Monica’s graduation. I come back up to school the second of September and will be an I-team leader; I’m so stoked about that. I’m excited that I will no longer be a freshman! I will be a single sophomore! Woo, I made it my first year without having a guy in my life. Accomplishment? I think yes. I only hope that I’ll be able to survive finals week…
