Christmas

I love spending time with my family!! We have had so much fun together sharing laughs. I am so grateful for everything that I have been given and for the trials that I have also been given this year. I am so happy with life right now and couldn't ask for anything else.

I'm in Texas until Christmas and then have to go back to Utah for work. I am excited to see S again and to spend time with him. We always have so much fun together, even if its just something lame like moving all my stuff into a different room :)

I hope you're all having a blast with your families!

Calling You

Life is beautiful! I looooveeee Christmas and I loveeeee my roommates! I love everything about the month of December; except for the cold that is. I can't wait to go home, get some good sleep and eat delicious meals. I've been running on V8 juice, pizza rolls and NO sleep. My problem? My problem: S. (Purposely not disclosing name, not yet anyway) He's a great friend, I get nooo sleep now.

I GET TO GO HOME SOON!! I miss my family dearly! They're easily my favorite people in the whole wide world. They are crazy but I wouldn't change them for anything in this world. I LOVE CHRISTMAS.

Stay Classy.

Outta Your Mind

Get outta your mind!

Literally!

I've been reading the book call " You Can Be Happy No Matter What" and it's incredible! So many times we wait around for life to not be "hard" until we decide that we can be happy, when in reality we ought to find happiness even through the hard times....you know what, it really helps! LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!
Today I found happiness in cleaning my room, reading, getting ready for the day, getting my car a parking pass finally :), talking with friends (even if it was just watching them play dumb Halo), getting a job and dancing!! I miss dancing! I tried teaching my friend how to dance to Latin music yesterday....it was uh...cute. jk. He did a great job!

Finding happiness in the small things is absolutely refreshing! Also, I might be able to go home for Christmas after all, happy, happy day!!

Keep the Sabbath Day Holy

I am so grateful for our Father in Heaven. Life can often be rough and hard to swallow. Everyone faces their fair share of difficulties but we must persevere. I am grateful for my health, my family and my beautiful friends. I have had feelings of despair and uncertainty and when it seems as though I am drowning, the Lord always comes to rescue. I am grateful for the scriptures and the strength that they give. I am grateful for the temple and the covenants that are made with the Lord. I am grateful for our eldest brother, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross so that we might live. I am grateful for opposition, whereby we might know good and happiness. I am grateful for Joseph and Emma Smith and for all that they endured so that this wonderful church might be restored and the gathering of Israel might proceed. It is often easier to recognize the hardships much quicker than the blessings that we are given daily. I challenge you to take time in your day to ponder on the blessings that you have received each day and take note of them. You were chosen for this day and time for a reason. Rise up to the challenges of life and know that you aren't alone.

"If you have enough Faith, you can handle difficulties knowing that in the Eternal perspective, all will be well"
